A massively built full-size SUV, the 2001 Ford Excursion was built on the chassis of the F250 Super Duty pickup truck. It has a longer wheelbase than the Suburban and is nearly 1,900 pounds heavier. It has a huge tow capacity of 11,000 pounds when properly equipped. This top-of-the-line model comes with power mirrors with integrated turn signals, a trip computer and rear parking sensors. It was also equipped with a pair of leather captain's chairs and four wheel drive. The system shifts between 2WD and 4-High or 4-Low via a dashboard switch. Also includes an aftermarket trailer brake control unit!
