The 2008 Lexus RX 400h is a surprisingly handsome and sophisticated SUV. It looks like a normal luxury SUV and doesn’t shout about its hybrid status in any way, apart from the grille that serves as the charging point for the battery. Inside, the RX 400h is also discreetly designed, with the only visual giveaway of its green credentials being a small, high-resolution screen located on top of the centre stack that shows what the car is doing at all times (whether it’s running on electric power, the gas engine or a combination of both).
