The Highlander Hybrid is a mid-size SUV with a roomy interior for seven. It's a hybrid-electric vehicle that uses a V-6 engine and high-torque electric motor generators to achieve excellent fuel economy. It has a small screen mounted on the dash that shows information, such as trip details and fuel economy, when you're driving. It also displays a rear-mounted camera when you're backing up. When cruising down the highway or in a big city, the Highlander Hybrid's powertrain works well in Econ mode to keep the engine off when you don't need it. That's a big win for the environment, and it also helps make the transition between electric and gasoline power seamless and nearly unnoticeable unless you're looking at the power display.
