The 2011 Lexus GX 460 is a full-sized, seven-passenger, body-on-frame sport utility vehicle with available third row seating. The GX 460 offers real off-road capability with its available Crawl Control, which allows the driver to set and hold a speed, while automatically varying engine torque and braking to maintain traction on steep grades or slick surfaces. It has more then 8.1 inch ground clearance thanks to its large aftermarket 18 inch wheels. A V8 engine powers the GX 460, and its 301 horsepower and 329 pound-feet of torque are sufficient to provide ample acceleration for city driving, yet the car does not feel winded during highway passing maneuvers. The EPA has rated the GX 460 at 17 MPG combined. The GX 460 has several options, a glass moonroof, heated seats and a 17-speaker Mark Levinson audio system.
