The 2011 Toyota 4Runner is a rugged, off-road-ready mid-size SUV that's perfect for tackling muddy trails and other tough terrain. With its body-on-frame design, the 4Runner offers an aggressive, rugged exterior that's complemented by progressive styling cues. Inside, the cockpit is spacious and comfortable, with a geometric design that underscores its utilitarian appeal. There are hard plastics throughout the cabin, but most of the touchpoints are softly padded. It offers a variety of convenience and comfort features, including a sunroof, navigation, backup camera and heated seats. Hill-start Assist Control (HAC), which is standard on all models, helps keep the vehicle stationary before starting on a steep incline or unstable surface. A 4.0-liter V6 engine is teamed with a five-speed ECT-i automatic transmission. Fuel economy is relatively good, with an EPA rating of 17 mpg in the city and 23 mpg on the highway.
