Description
The 2013 Nissan Rogue SV is a compact crossover SUV that combines spacious rear cargo room with secure and car-like handling. It competes with other small SUVs such as the Ford Escape, Honda CR-V and Chevy Equinox. The all-wheel drive SV ispowered by a 170-horsepower 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine that is mated to Nissan's continuously variable transmission. The CVT constantly adjusts the drive ratio to keep engine rpm in the sweet spot and provides decent acceleration off the line and around town. The Rogue's simple interior layout has an easy-to-use interface for audio and climate control and a good selection of storage compartments in both the front and back seats. The SV also includes a pair of LATCH car-seat connectors in the rear outboard seats and an upper tether anchor in the middle seat, making it a suitable family choice.
