Description
The 2014 Ford Expedition EL is the extended-length version of this large full-size SUV. It rides on the same T1 platform as the regular-wheelbase model, but it's 14.8 inches longer. The standard 5.4-liter flex-fuel V8 engine delivers 310 horsepower and 365 lb.-ft of torque, paired with an electronic 6-speed automatic transmission and tows up to 9,200 pounds. Inside, the Expedition is comfortable and roomy with a layout that offers captain's chairs on the front row and a standard bench split 40/20/40 in the middle row. The third-row 60/40-split bench seat tucks flat into the floor with the use of an electric PowerFold feature. A number of upscale features are available, including a Sync audio and multimedia system, heated and cooled front seats, a navigation system and DVD entertainment system.
