Despite being a full-size SUV, the 2014 Ford Expedition XLT is quite nimble and easy to drive. It's also a very capable tow vehicle with a maximum towing capacity of 9,200 pounds. Powered by a 5.4L Triton V8 engine, it can produce 310 horsepower and 365 pound-feet of torque. It's mated to a six-speed automatic transmission and available in rear or four-wheel drive configurations. The XLT comes with a host of standard equipment, including 18-inch alloy wheels, automatic headlights, foglights, running boards, roof rack, rear parking sensors and dual-zone climate control. Inside, the XLT offers Ford's SYNC infotainment system, a leather-wrapped steering wheel and rearview camera in the mirror. The XLT's optional second-row power seats fold down into the floor, and the seatbacks slide out and retract for ease of access to the third row. The second-row seats are powered with a remote, which is located in the trunk.
